Frosted.......

Up and moving before 7:00, I got an early start on the day. By 9:00 I was ready to tackle my project for the day.....preparing birthday cakes. I sketched my templates, cut my cakes and buried myself in various colored icings for 4 1/2 hours! By 1:30 when Thom returned from the golf course my work was finished and I was busy cleaning my disaster struck kitchen. The cakes look fabulous (if I must say so myself) and they are tucked away in the freezer till celebration time.

We walked under the threat of rain and upon our return I collapsed on the couch anxious to just be off my feet for a while. The remainder of the afternoon and evening was nondescript and relaxing.....another good night for reading....
