Games......

Weather this morning was iffy for soccer but the games commenced for the final match-ups of the season while the concession stand sold the remnants of our stock to hungry spectators and athletes. It was a fun morning. Thom dropped by the fields for a few minutes after leaving work early to prepare for the church tournament this afternoon. Amazingly the clouds threatened all day but never produced a drop of precipitation on either golf or soccer players.

Following a day on the links the guys were joined by their wives at the FLC for a steak dinner and presentation of awards. The steaks were delicious with yummy baked potatoes and salad. The usual 2-3 dozen selection of desserts filled the tables too.....surprisingly I was able to resist(I was too full of steak). Pastor gave a brief message, there was good music and an array of prizes were distributed.

Returning home to tea and good company......
