At 9:51 this morning our newest grandchild arrived in the world. Weighing in at 6 lbs. 6 oz. little Lylah Caroline and her mom, dad and big brother are doing great. She's a cutie!
My morning began with a minor disaster....I spilled my coffee on the computer keyboard drenching it and rendering it inoperable....ugh! Alas, the happy events of the day overshadowed the problem and certainly it will be resolved tomorrow by my multi-talented, handy dandy husband who is capable of repairing anything. I'm grateful we have the laptop or we could not have spread the good news to all via the internet.
Since we arrived at the hospital around 9:00 a.m. staying till 1:00 then returning for a late afternoon visit at 5:00, our day revolved around this blessed event. We're tuckered out but taking time to thank the Lord for this sweet and healthy baby girl and for the abundance of His grace and blessings in our lives.
