well, maybe not wealthy.... at least not monetarily. Thom had his annual physical early this morning and all stats were good and he got a clean bill of health along with a flu shot. The appointment took a few hours but when he returned we were ready to walk and have lunch.
Good News was uncharacteristically controlled this afternoon. Two of our more troublesome 2nd grade boys were particularly responsive and enthusiastic in learning their verses and participating positively. I've kind of bonded with one little guy and I think it motivates him a bit when he's lavished with praise and attention.
We enjoyed a yummy dinner and decided to trip to Walmart before shutting down for the night. Coffee and "off limit" honey roasted peanuts :( . Jillian and Bob would not approve!
