Hello Mr. Sunshine.......

Beautiful,crisp,sunny day was enjoyed here at Camp Carney. I lingered in bed a few extra minutes this morning catching up on the lost sleep I suffered when I came downstairs at 4:30 a.m. to get my "Pastor Appreciation Day" meatballs started in the crock pot. They were delicious though and I've shared the recipe with a few friends at church already.

We had a fun Sunday School class and a great time of worship followed by an array of homemade entrees and desserts in the FLC. That feast provided our main meal of the day so I managed to avoid cooking for the evening and we dined on fruit, crackers and peanut butter before late service.

It was a lazy day with our walk providing the only meaningful exercise. Football viewed from the recliner occupied most of the afternoon with a few minor activities thrown in for good measure. It had been a hectic week so I guess we can let this one slip by. Thom catching up on the golf course website then we'll chill with a DVR'd show or two before ending a fine weekend.....
