Up and out this morning early to clean the church and FLC after last night's Fall Festival. With about 700 - 800 people there was a huge mess! I picked up a broom and swept for 1 1/2 hours! We got the job done in record time and got home to collapse in the recliner with my feet up.
A light lunch followed then I was off to Good News while Thom delivered huge bags of leftover popcorn to Mike for Colleen to take to the Boys Home. It was a great morning....other than with the kids and grandkids there is no place I'd rather be than at church....doing God's work with God's people!
Good News was just about out of control....we did a craft project....a "Christian Pumpkin"....it went okay but somewhere during the afternoon our grip slipped away and we retreated to as I say... "organized chaos". I don't think the rainy day helped the situation....oh, well, we try.
Late dinner,a few odd chores, baking for tomorrow nights youth cake sale and the Biggest Loser.....another wet but wonderful day....
