Another day....more baking! If I don't see my mixer for a month or so I would be happy...unfortunately that is not what the future holds. I promised baked goods for the Fall Festival at church on Monday night.....a cake for the cake walk and 2 dozen un-iced cupcakes for kids to decorate.
I labored in the kitchen while Thom was at work. After lunch we walked (it was absolutely beautiful outside) and later took a Walmart run..... a busy afternoon.
Adjusting to early darkness is difficult....it can be only 6:30 and I'm mentally ready for p.j.'s. Tonight we decided to Wii bowl and play baseball following dinner. Very fun. I'm not too terrible at bowling.... baseball however, is another story! I'm an awful hitter....will have to practice more.
Winding down...green tea...ready to get back to my book.....
