Wow.....

Wonderful day followed by an amazing night!

We joined a group of church members at 5:00 p.m. and loaded on the bus heading for the Bi-Lo Center for an "Evening with David Jeremiah". I have heard him a few times on the radio preaching or doing bible studies but it was such a fantastic experience seeing him live with his entourage. 8,000 - 9,000 people were there....the place was packed. The music was incredible....modern praise and worship complemented by old standards....the perfect mix performed by such talented musicians and singers. You could feel God's presence in that place! His message was timely and motivating with touches of humor to bring home his most important points. The entire event lasted 2 1/2 hours and the time sped by unnoticed.

Arriving home at almost 11:00 (late night for us old folks) I'm ready to unwind and get some sleep. Big day tomorrow....the arrival of Baby Bishop....can hardly wait!
