Thom and I celebrated our 12th anniversary today! What a wonderful dozen years we have had together! Thom surprised me with a sweet mushy card and a gift card to the Cheesecake factory....my new favorite restaurant....can't wait to use it. Thank you dear Lord for my wonderful husband!
We started the day by attending early service then Sunday School....home by 10:15...a new schedule for us. I'm not wild about the 6:30 alarm but the benefit is worth it. Off to Gastonia with a 1:30 arrival at my parents apartment where the family gathered to help me celebrate my birthday (looming over my head with the midnight hour approaching quickly). Although a little crowded everyone had a fine time....great food, outstanding gifts (and the sweetest cards), followed by delicious cake. The kids played with and without the adults and there was time to chat and hang out together. It was just an excellent day!
