Photographs were taken at 8:30 this morning for a Sunday School class directory for Thom's class....not sure we were awake enough for smiles and flashes. I had to teach the 4 & 5's today and we had a good time....I even think they learned a thing or two. We elected to go to late service at 10:15 but the first of our church's new early service was well attended and went fine. I'm thinking we will alternate times and therefore not miss seeing friends. It's hard getting up at 6:15 on Sunday but nice to be home by 10:30. Time will tell....
Spent the day unloading the attic but we did enjoy a trike ride to Inman.....another fantastic fall day! I am dedicating this week to reorganization....emptying closets and cabinets....tossing the unused and old then rearranging the rest. As usual I prepared my list to gauge my daily achievements...it was much longer then expected but I'm determined to get it all done. The attic is always one of the full day jobs but with my parents stuff removed for the season I can possibly make some headway....I could easily talk myself into procrastinating, after the Christmas gifts are gone it would be a piece of cake. We'll see....
A quiet evening...semi-watching National Geographic nonsense regarding the Myan calendar and the 2012 prediction...amazing these people get paid to "investigate" this silliness and more amazing that others believe it! Human beings are amazingly arrogant and egotistical.
Time for this Sunday to draw to a close....my thoughts for tonight into words.....thank you Lord for my countless blessings.....a good and righteous husband, loving and wonderful children, 21 precious and healthy grandchildren, a Godly church home and family and the abundance of life's sustenance. Your grace is boundless and Your mercy plentiful.
