Loaded the car with the final installment of necessities for my parents winter dwelling and took off for Gastonia by 8:00 a.m.. Janice had the key and after a brief stop to pick it up I set about emptying a minivan full of household goods and accessories. By the time my amazing husband parked their fully packed Buick in the designated spot at 12:30, the apartment was ready for habitation! It's a bright and sunny unit this year and I'm hoping they'll be happy there....they seemed pleased.
Janice dropped by with the kiddies (she had also come by and helped me carry in the super large items - thank you Janice) and visited for awhile. Exhausted from his long trek south Thom was anxious to get home.....we left my parents to get settled and were walking in the warm Lyman Lake air by 4:00. It's good to have him home safely....not many sons-in-law would have been willing to be so generous with their time and energy...I love him dearly for that!
Life is back to normal again here at Camp Carney....
