61.....oh my !!! I'm not wild about getting old but as they say "it's better than the alternative".
It was an A+ day beginning with a few extra zzzzz's followed by coffee and presents! An OCC t-shirt (this time it is Orange County Choppers) joined my wardrobe and my fitness goals will more easily be achieved by the addition of "Wii Fit Plus" and the "Biggest Loser" workout for the Wii. The last two items may not appear to be the most complimentary gifts but they were exactly what I had hoped for to spice up my exercise routine and get me energized during the winter months. Thank you Thom for being so attentive to my requests!
While Thom golfed I baked for the upcoming b'day and generally had a relaxing morning. Cut short by inclement weather my athlete returned early and we shopped a bit and had an extravagant b'day dinner from McDonalds before Bethlehem Walk rehearsal at church.
A great day regardless of the number it represents. At the risk of being repetitious I am so grateful for all the birthday wishes.....Facebook, e-mail, even snail mail.
I am so blessed to be loved by so many.....thank you all....
