Sold To The Higgest Bidder........

For years Stefanie and Janice have been members and officers in the Gaston County Womens Club and each November they host a charity auction which I have faithfully attended.....today was the day. Up at 6:00 a.m. to be there by 8:45 a.m. and spend time reviewing the items available for bidding as well as feast on all the homemade delights. Attendance seemed to be off from previous events but all the items sold well making the auction a success. I'm acquainted with many club members through my daughters and it's always a fun time.

We headed over to my parents apartment about 12:30 with Olivia and Brady in tow and visited there. I stayed for the afternoon and the girls left and returned about 3:30 bringing Brian and Emily. Their 3rd birthday cake was served along with presents from Thom and I....so many celebrations this month!

Back on the road about 4:00, home by 5:30 where Thom had a pizza in the oven, then a shorter trip to church for Wednesday night prayer meeting.

A long but first class day....chilly and rainy outside....a cuddle night....
