Much Improved......

A morning of preparations for the Santulli's visit on Thursday with a walk thrown in for good measure.

Shortly before lunch a call came in from our youth minister. I had constructed 2 letters for our Good News attendees to be distributed to those students who repeatedly exhibit bad and disruptive behavior. Jonanthan had left the copies I gave him at home and asked if I would bring them with me to today's club.

Today was polar opposite to what we have seen in the past with these children. Upon entering, Jonathan sternly reproached them for past actions and warned them of the new procedures regarding the issuance of these letters to their parents and their ultimate removal from the program. Amazing what a scare tactic can do! They were attentive, participated in learning their verse, and enjoyed the bible lesson. Wow!

Discussions on the revamping of next years program with some major changes have already begun...maybe there is hope for Good News after all!

I hurried home and Thom and I drove to the store for guest essentials and treated ourselves to McDonalds. I managed to stay on track with a salad.
