I am entertaining a good friend for lunch tomorrow so the majority of my day was preparing house and food. Thom set about outdoor work early and accomplished major strides in spring time improvements. In addition to normal tasks he scrubbed the shed (to prepare for painting), whitewashed the deck and laid new carpet replacing the old and tattered. Barely breaking for lunch he labored diligently till dinnertime.
We walked after our evening repast and quit for the day. It will be an early bedtime....
