Bye, Bye Birdie.......

One of the highlights of Mother's day afternoon was the appearance of a white goose in our front yard. Brady named him "Duck,Duck" as in the game "duck,duck,goose". By evening DuckDuck was eating out of Thom's hand and proceeded to take up permanent residence at our house. He follows Thom everywhere and it is a riot to watch. He comes when called and even allows himself to be petted. But there are two big problems: I feel bad that he is alone (there should be a Mrs. DuckDuck) and he is eating all of our tomatoes and pooping everywhere! (I guess that's 3 problems).

In hopes of finding him some goose friends Thom lured him (it didn't take much since they are buddies) onto the boat and let him off on the far side of the lake. Hopefully he will relocate and join a flock or maybe find his original home. I don't know what we'll do if he reappears in our yard!

This adventure followed a typical golf day for Thom and a good CPC day for me. Wednesday concluded with prayer service and (surprise, surprise) another Ranger hockey game......
