A Happy Mother's Day.....

A great Mother's Day started off with early service and a sanctuary filled with roses. We always buy one in memory of Thom's mom and this year I found myself listed in the "rose book" with a rose in my honor....thank you sweet husband! I joined Thom's class in SS and loved his lesson....he's got so much to share and does such a wonderful job as teacher.

Early afternoon brought the entire Gastonia crowd and we had a fun filled day in spite the rainy weather. We played games, did crafts and enjoyed meatball heroes and an array of desserts. It was a working mother's day but so worth the effort.....sweet messages by phone, meaningful and touching cards and of course terrific gifts....what a good day!

I am so blessed....thank You dear Lord for this life and family you have given me.....
