Recuperating......

A day of relaxing was on my agenda. It had been such a busy weekend I had hoped only minor chores would fill the day. I won't complain though as it  became a full tilt day with worthwhile tasks.

I did sleep in a bit and the inclement weather cancelled Thom's Monday golf so we had a slow start. There was more catching up then expected around the house and a call came from the Post Office reminding us to pick up the food donations for our church pantry. That was our afternoon! There were tons of food....enough to fill the back of the van (without the rear seats) to capacity. We loaded it all and unloaded it at church. Thankfully, Johnathan, our youth minister was in the building and helped carry the 50 or so bags up to the second floor where I sorted and stacked. Overflowing and still not all shelved!

Home for dinner and such......Ranger game as I write......hoping for a win bringing joy to my fanatical husband....
