It was a day of "culture". Thom and I left home early to arrive by 11:00 a.m. for a recital in Rock Hill. This one was a bit different then our usual, it was a performance by T.J. who has been taking voice lessons. There were 6 individuals, most singing 3 selections and the presentation took place in the sanctuary of a beautiful old church. T.J. did an amazing job and it was totally wonderful listening to him sing......well done T.J.!
We lunched at the Tarantino's on our way to recital #2. Emmy's dance school had their show at a Belmont High School.....the place was packed. She was excellent, don't think she missed a step and looked gorgeous in her sequined costume. Two dances.....jazz and tap....both were great.
The entire extended family was in attendance and from there we headed to the Kahn's for a celebration of Julia's 12th birthday. Yummy dinner, cake and presents. She is such a beautiful girl and growing into the sweetest young lady......blessed to have her as a grand!
Finally home....a Ranger win entertained and thrilled Thom on the long drive.....
