Crisp air filled the bedroom this morning and even though early for a Saturday it was great to be up by 7:00 a.m.. Invigorated by the chill we walked 3 miles before 10:00 and continued unabated to work in the back yard. Thom cleaned and stained the pool deck while I scrubbed and applied a fresh coat of paint to the lattice and support boards under the deck. Needs a bit more attention to the upper area but definitely an improvement. The sun was strong and the sky clear but the temps were so mild it was a terrific day for our labors.
With dinner behind us I took on my upcoming SS lesson and Thom took the girls on the lake for fishing. I got comfortable with my books out in the screen room so we both enjoyed the early evening outdoors.
A night of TV and reading....
