Sleeping till almost 9:00 a.m. got us off to a later start then usual but that was fine. We set about our chores and guest preparations. A very busy, work filled day.
Pastor and Jan arrived about 6:45 and we had a delicious spare rib dinner (if I must say so myself) with incredible peanut butter brownies for dessert. Over coffee and popcorn the Sequence competition began....men against women.... lots of laughter and just a good time. We enjoy their company so much and are so blessed to have them as friends in addition to our church relationship. Being a work night they left about 9:30 and after doing dishes I'm ready to chill before attempting to sleep....2-3 cups of evening coffee will keep me awake for awhile.
Another terrific day .....such a good life....
