Where Did They Go?.......

Here I am on Saturday night playing catch up once again.

Rewind.....Thursday.....full day for Thom and I with household busyness but a fun evening out for our Sunday School Christmas dinner at a local down home country cooking restaurant. The food was yummy and the fellowship fun. Not a late night.

Back up Gastonia way on Friday morning. We were called upon to pick up little Boomer from the vet after being "altered" and met Stefanie at her house for lunch. Thom spent the afternoon working at my mom's house with his helper, Brady, by his side all day. Brady was so proud of himself and actually proved to be quite the assistant! We loaded Brian, Emmy, Olivia, Brady and Boomer in the car near 5 o'clock and picked up my favorite Sam's pizza for a belated birthday dinner. It was actually Stefanie's birthday so we had a joint celebration at my parent's. Lots of presents and cake finished off a long day. (Stefanie's cake was a "teller's cash drawer" and if I must say so myself it came out quite cute).

My Saturday was spent in the kitchen baking with only a walk break. Thom played handyman working on cars, yard stuff and changing door locks.....busy man as always. He managed to convert  VHS to DVD of my favorite movie.

A Christmas Story and hot coffee......great ending for the day.....
