Winter Cold.......

Dud Saturday left nothing worth blogging.

Today was a step up but not by much. Thom slept fitfully with a bad cold so he remained in the recliner while I attended church and Sunday School. Our pastor is enjoying a well deserved beach vacation leaving our music minister preaching duties. He did a great job and I was glad I fought off the temptation to stay at home with my sickly husband.

Feeling a bit more human after a shower and extra sleep Thom joined me for a Walmart run. That was it for the day though. I had a list to keep me occupied and he had football.

Soothing chicken noodle soup simmered in the crock pot all day and provided a delicious winter weather dinner.

Cold outside....warm and cozy inside.....staying put for a quiet night....
