Triple Post......

Tuesday was a sad, sad day at the mission. A wonderful Christian man devoting his life's work to the homeless lost his 14 year old daughter to suicide. The staff was numb as they journeyed to Greenville for the funeral of their co-workers child.....so tragic. I worked a bit but mostly shared the grief.

We had an uplifting evening however, sharing pizza and fun with the Bishops.

Back to CPC after the holiday break.....nice to return. My final client ran late and I had to scurry home and complete dinner preparations for our guest. Alexia was the guest speaker for Wednesday mission night and she was having her evening meal with us before we set off for church. Love her .....great fun at the table.

She did a fine job of sharing all we do at CPC and I'm sure was an inspiration to all. Her emphasis was to find your passion and act! The Lord will guide and provide. I am so happy I did that almost 4 years ago.

Today was cake day. Baking and decorating kept me in the kitchen with the exception of a pleasant walk in the spring like 70 degree weather. Gotta love it.

Crafts tonight....new assignment for an upcoming CPC event will keep me busy for a long time....
