CPC hosted a Valentine luncheon for the mentors and clients of the EWYL program and as usual it was a first rate affair. A few of my clients attended along with other mentors and their "girls" numbering close to 50 people. The MOPS group at First North were kind enough to be servers and did a great job. The gourmet food was outstanding, a great speaker and even gifts and door prizes. Some of our clients never feel special or worthy of pampering and this was such a perfect opportunity to express Jesus' love for them through us.
I returned home mid-afternoon. Thom and I ran a few errands and before we knew it we were headed for church for a Valentine dinner hosted by the youth group. There was music ,a pasta meal, and an array of homemade delights auctioned off to raise funds for an upcoming mission trip. A sweet time.
Home....stuffed and tired. Thank You dear Lord for a day overflowing with Your love......
