A Day Away.....

Thom had a bachelor day or two while I spent time in Gastonia.

I headed up yesterday and joined Emily and her mom for lunch at school and a tour of the book fair. Next stop was the afternoon with Janice and the kiddies followed by an evening of babysitting while she and Steve enjoyed a rare dinner date. Stefanie kept us company and when the parents returned I followed Stefanie home and we chatted till well after midnight before deciding it was time for sleep.

Up, showered and back in the car for the few mile trip back to the Kahns. Olivia had a "tummy ache" so I was charged with both while Janice went to work. We had a very fun day and late afternoon spent some time at my parents playing cards till Janice appeared to retrieve them and relieve me of that responsibility.

Home for a late Burger King dinner. Tired....those little ones can wipe me out....
