Slept in a little this morning and after a light breakfast we took our walk . To avoid the depressing landscape devoid of trees we headed in the opposite direction for our 2.5 mile jaunt. It seemed we still covered a considerable amount of pavement before the tall hardwoods lined the road. We are hoping they will finish soon and we will see where the destruction ends and what of Mother Nature's natural beauty remains.
Thom made a quick run to the store for lawn supplies preparing for a weekend of fertilizing. I prepared packages due for mailing, baked some green cookies for St. Pat's bags for the grands and completed a few other projects.
Quiet night......
