Touch Of Spring.......

Early service and celebration of the Lord's Supper. Good SS lesson and home to enjoy open doors and warm breezes. The day passed quickly and the afternoon closed with a sad obligation. A church member passed away yesterday. She was a single mom who had adopted a baby on her own in 2002. The young girl is 11 now and her only parent is gone. Very sad. Our friend was a victim of cancer and in anticipation of this day she had arranged for her daughter to be placed with close friends who will adopt her. They are a sweet, loving Christian family and surely she will thrive in her new environment. Still, it's a heart breaking situation. We joined the throngs of people at the mortuary, most certainly all those prayers raised to the Lord will be answered and all will be well.

A busy day ahead so sleepy time is fast approaching......
