Our opening night for Resurrection Road was a moderate success. God blessed us with a clear, windless evening but it was very cold which may have kept away prospective visitors. The count reached about 450, a far cry from the Bethlehem Walk but keeping in mind this is our first Easter drama and the word has not spread, we were happy with that turn out.
Jerusalem looked great and there were the usual soldiers on horseback, sheep, cows, and even a dove seller. A friend took pictures and I was thrilled to be able to post them on Facebook. I was excited to see one of my CPC clients on the tour!
Praying the Lord will bless us with a rainless weekend to give us the opportunity to reach more of the community. Tomorrow family will be here and hopefully the skies will be clear and dry once more.
Thank You Lord for this wonderful church of believers who strive together to spread the Good News of our Savior......
