Thom and I were on our way to the Expo Center in Spartanburg by 8:30 to help with the decorating for our 2013 fund raiser. We worked all day adorning the hall for the 1300 expected guests.....it looked close to awesome when we left and will reach the awesome limit after the finishing touches are added tomorrow morning. Thom was one of only two men to come help.....I am so proud and grateful for his willingness to give of his time and talents.
From the banquet location we headed to Carson's ball game then back to the Bishop's house for dinner and a chance to catch up. Great game and fun evening.
Wiped out but ready for another round of preparations at 9 a.m. with the big evening to follow.
Amazing to watch how God works through his people......
