Those of us that have been volunteering at CPC for many years were asked to participate in refresher training and join the class of new recruits to review the newest instructional program. I previously took two days of classes and now needed only to take the remaining three.
Yesterday and today were two of those three. Interesting information covering topics from counseling room evangelism , the latest abortion law changes and the ins and outs of adoption options and procedures. The only down side is sitting still for hours!
Yesterday Thom and I managed a walk in the late afternoon but today soon after I returned home we were headed for Gastonia for Emmy's volleyball game. We hadn't made it to one all season and it was fun to watch their victory. The team is much improved from last year and Emmy plays great.
Long days and another one ahead.....break on Thursday.....
