Yesterday was a rare day for me at CPC. My track record has been pretty good of late but not so on this particular Wednesday. Three of my four clients were "no-shows". My free time did allow me to continue to be of some help with the banquet entries as they finally neared the end. I worked through most of the lunch hour and did odds and ends till I finally gave up hope on my final client and left for home at 3:45.
Thom did his routine senior golf day and after a quick dinner we were off to cheer at Brian's final LaCrosse game in Belmont (80 miles away....ugh!). Beautiful weather and a win made it a pleasant evening and when the game concluded we were back on I85 arriving home about 9:45.
Helping T.J. lay flooring was Thom's project for today and he was gone by 8 a.m. to Rock Hill. Unfortunately our Dish service went haywire and after a brief run to Walmart for necessities I spent the day waiting for and in the company of the repair man. Turned out to be a huge project but TV was finally restored. I managed to get my baking and cooking done in preparation for Julia's 13th birthday celebration on Saturday and Mother's Day on Sunday.
Busy days ahead.....
