Thom and I were two ships passing yesterday. I had only morning clients at CPC and was home in time to give my hubby a kiss as he left for a meeting with the CPC staff. He has taken on the challenge, as a new board member, of organizing the first annual CPC golf tournament to be played in October. Being an organized, competent, dedicated and enthusiastic individual he had prepared pages of suggestions and ideas for making this a record breaking fundraiser.
They had a productive session and after a quick meal we were off to prayer meeting. Tons of lightening, thunder, rain and hail battered the church but calm prevailed once we left for home.
Golfing was the activity for the day for Thom while I did boring "stuff". Brady graduated from preschool this evening so we were in Gastonia to celebrate the event......how precious! Briefly stopped before the ceremony to see Stefanie and the kiddies. Emily played in the volleyball finals tonight so the Tarantinos missed the commencement. Her team won....undefeated season!
Home once again. Thom is happy with a Ranger win.....
