Remember.....

Thought a lot about my dad today and all the WWII vets. I really don't know what the history curriculum is in our schools today but I pray our children are learning of the ultimate sacrifice made by so many to preserve our freedoms.

Being retired our days are all holidays so to speak so we enjoyed this Monday with the simple pleasures. Took advantage of the beautiful morning with our daily trek and as I baked, Thom took a quick ride for some freshly picked sweet strawberries. Just chores and a leisurely post dinner pontoon ride.

Thank You Lord for this great country. I pray that America will find it's way back to You.....
