Singing In The Rain.....

Cold, rainy, yucky! That would describe the weather we endured as we sat for 90 minutes in the Beacon restaurant parking lot. Definitely worth it to participate in the National Day of Prayer. Praise, worship and thanksgiving was the order of the event. There was singing of inspirational music and the offering of prayer by guest speakers encompassing the many needs of our nation and community. It was heartwarming to see the turnout as we scanned the audience huddled and shaking under umbrellas.

The car heater was a welcome experience and we headed home to don our warmer clothes and settle in for the late afternoon. Accomplished a few things with the remainder of the day.
