Stewed........

First thing this morning I was busy in the kitchen preparing the first of the season tomatoes for stewing. Lots of work cutting the variety of veggies to be jumbled together in the big pot but boy are they yummy.

Thom took advantage of the temporary dryness to mow the lawn but sure enough the rain was back as the day progressed. We fit in a brief walk and also got a 20 minute dip in the pool between showers. This is getting ridiculous!

After chores I continued my progress on the CPC monthly bible verses.....done up to March of next year with my goal to complete all of 2014 by the end of summer.
