My first client had her baby last Friday so she cancelled her appointment to take time to recuperate. She had texted me to let me know and send me a picture of her new sweet baby girl!
I arrived at CPC early anyway not wanting to miss prayer time. One of my favorite girls had the 10:30 slot and we had a great visit. She has been looking for a job and we prayed that God would provide quickly as their funds are running low. Lunch and a fine afternoon followed.
Thom golfed and spent the time after his return preparing for his message at church tonight. Our pastor is with his hospitalized mother so Thom was called upon to handle the prayer meeting. As expected he presented a meaningful message complete with group participation on the general topic of apologetics, specifically Genesis 1. He definitely missed his calling.....should have been a teacher. His presentation was enjoyed by all and the gathering left with much to think about as we defend our faith.
A late run to Lowes and back home for relaxation.....ate way too many fresh blueberries for snack!
