Time Flies.....

Well. in a nutshell we had a great weekend.

Saturday was Carson's 7th birthday party and the celebration was at the cultural center in Spartanburg. It's a pretty cool place and the kids had a terrific time. We added to the celebration by treating ourselves to Chinese for dinner....yum.....and no cooking required.

Sunday started our new service schedule. Enjoyed the early worship and SS class. It was a quiet afternoon and we were back at church in time to set up the room and snacks for our "Not a fan" small group study. Thom did an excellent job and the class was well attended. All in this class appear anxious to fully participate and I am looking forward to learning and growing in our Christian walk.

Yesterday was spent in Gastonia. I went up to take Emmy and Brian to dental appointments and after I returned them to school I enjoyed a brief lunch with Stefanie, a visit with my parents, and an afternoon dog walk with Brian and Boomer. I prepared dinner and the Kahns joined us. Great having all of us hanging out for a bit. Home and exhausted by 9 ish.

Fun work morning at the shelter today then lunch with Thom and a little shopping. Dinner and a walk in the lovely evening.

Doesn't get much better......
