Caught Up.....

Thom reached my age today.....66.....sounds so old!

We had the Kahns and my mom and aunt out for the day to show off the "new" house and tacked on a verse of happy birthday along with Thom's favorite angel food cake to acknowledge his special day.

The weather could not have been better. We enjoyed all the spring time activities offered at Camp Carney.....boat ride, corn hole,basketball, a nice walk (picking up trash along the way) and trike rides. Brady got his first experience sitting behind his Grandpa and zipping around the block....he loved it. Even my mother donned a helmet and climbed on for a slow speed trip up and down the roadway.

A little lakeside drama ended the day. Thom noticed flames across the cove and called 911. We all watched the blaze spread and Thom called again to revise the location. Finally the sirens blared and the fire department arrived to extinguish the small inferno. A wee bit of excitement!

Wishing many more birthdays to the sweetest man I know. So blessed to have him in my life.....
