This sleepless night stuff is getting to be a bad habit. I was up from 2a.m. till almost 4:30 this morning! The alarm rang at 7:00 and as tempted as I was to roll back over I resisted and got an early start. Thom was already gone to work but a fresh cup of coffee got me pumped and motivated.
Today was set up day for the CPC banquet. Surprisingly less then a dozen people (of which 4 were staff ) showed up at the Expo Center to work. And work it was! We physically set up 170 tables and 1700 chairs in the immense room. We put on the table clothes and began the stage decor. Thom was sweet enough to come after leaving the golf course and assisted in the final chores of the day. I got there at 10 and left at 3:30.....a long,hard working fun day! I love my sisters at CPC!
A leftover dinner provided enough energy for an evening walk. Finally a shower and rest time.....
