Schedule Change.....

Thom and I were dismayed this morning reading the bulletin notice that 8:00 a.m. services were being suspended for the summer.The reasoning was that since attendance is usually down in the summer (due to vacations) there would be ample room for everyone at the 10:15 and it would be nice for the Pastor to have a bit of a break. I love my Pastor and my church but this was a bad decision. Summer is the time when folks like early church....we can worship and attend SS and have a full day to enjoy God's amazing creation! But, they didn't consult us and it is what it is.....oh, well.

We came home and quickly changed and headed to Gastonia.  A stop at Stefanie's for a few odds and ends then to my parents where Thom mounted a TV in the garage and we enjoyed a pizza dinner.

Home before sunset and Sunday night baseball...Mets vs. Cardinals.....a rare treat.....
