Another family day of a different sort. We headed to Gastonia this morning for Thom to put his seal of approval on a car for Stefanie. Yeah! Finally something she liked, within her price range and in excellent condition ....she's happy, Thom's happy.....I'm happy!
Stefanie provided fresh bagels which we shared at the Kahn's house and following the consummation of the car transaction Steve, Janice, Stefanie, Thom and I headed for our annual work day at OCC. Church members met us at the processing center and 20 of us worked the shoe box line from 2:00 till 6:00 p.m.. It was a great time and as always one of the most blessed parts of the Christmas season.
Everyone departed for home and we arrived back at Camp Carney shortly after 8:00 p.m.. No ambition for another project just shower, coffee and chill......
