Taryn And Tinsel.....

Our youngest granddaughter Taryn was dedicated today on her first birthday.We joined the family for church in Rock Hill and shared the blessing of  TJ and Terra honoring the Lord with their commitment to raising her as a child of God. After a sweet service we returned to their house for lunch, birthday cake and a little family time.

Arriving home we picked up where we left off with holiday chores. The tree is now full of sentimental ornaments, packages were wrapped for shipping tomorrow and a few other minor items were scratched off the list. Thom battled with our Christmas train set and lost .....the circle around our new tree is too small ....purchasing a set of H.O.s is now on our shopping list. The Bishops will likely get our hand me downs for their enjoyment. Another big change this season......my tree is tinsel free! Not sure why I finally decided to eliminate the shiny icicles but I am pleased with the look and unless nostalgia takes hold I think it will remain as is.

Shouldn't be as tired as I am but.....
