Holston Creek choir performed their Christmas musical this morning so there was a single service following Sunday School. They provided sweet musical worship and the church was packed.
Nasty weather confirmed our plan for having an inside afternoon. Thom was scheduled to be back at church by 4:30 for a budget committee meeting so we enjoyed a dinner type lunch. I returned with him and labored organizing and purging the food pantry while he joined the others for financial decision making. Pastor gave a timely message on suffering in light of the horrific events in Connecticut and we returned home for a night of boring TV.
