Still Awake.....

Tuesday is a fond memory as I sit at the kitchen computer at 1 a.m. posting this blog. A few hours work at the mission for me and a round of golf for Thom with his buddies. That pretty much summarizes that particular day.

Today was a repeat activity for Thom while I had a full day of clients at CPC. Some interesting conversations and sweet fellowship with friends and colleagues.

Home late and a quick leftover meal before church. Calvin, the director of Miracle Hill Rescue Mission, was speaking to the men's group tonight while the women met in the FLC in an attempt to revitalize our WMU. Knowing Calvin from working at the shelter I would have enjoyed hearing his presentation but my gender relegated me to the fellowship hall. There seemed to be some interest in breathing life back into the women's program so I guess the meeting was a success and I did get to chat a bit with Calvin and his wife before we headed home. A good evening.

Some TV and bed (sad to say no sleep yet, however).....
