Early service, SS and our walk before settling in at the ironing board for almost 3 hours.....ironing 195 bandannas is not the easy chore I had anticipated when I volunteered! Thom meanwhile worked hard cutting back the wildly overgrown hedges in front of the house then broke for the Masters.
I took my break to attend a drop in shower at the church for our youth minister. The respite was only a brief one then home for dinner preparations, back for evening service and later once again iron in hand.
Luckily the temperatures were cooler allowing Thom to labor without heat stroke and me to stay reasonably comfortable doing a heat intensive chore.
Done for the day.....
