A Week Off The Grid.....

Last Saturday we loaded the car with not an inch to spare and took off for an amazing week on Ocean Isle Beach.
Janice, Steve, Stefanie and 6 of the grands joined us in the beautiful rental home only steps from the beach and pool. The weather was cooperative with only one rainy morning and a random brief shower once or twice. Each beautiful day was spent between romps in the surf and hours of play in the pool. As usual there were plenty of crafts and games, many long walks and volleyball tournaments in the house's side yard.

We all ate far too much but thoroughly enjoyed the temporary overindulgence. In a nutshell.....as close to a perfect vacation as one can come!

Must say though.....good to be home with our sweet puppies.
