Action.....

Off to CPC this morning so feeling a bit more back in the swing of things. Thom off to senior golf......typical Wednesday. The office remained open only half day so by noon I was headed home with a quick shopping trip along the way.

Clouds filled the early afternoon and soon the rains had returned in full force. I think this is the rainiest spring and summer I can recall in all my SC years.

Off for prayer meeting with a presentation on our diminishing religious freedoms in this country. How do we rouse people from their apathy? Sure, they are outraged as they sit in the pew and listen to the horrifying statistics and anecdotes of Americans targeted for their Christian believes but why does that outrage dissipate when they leave the church building. Asked to participate in a rally, write a letter or email, make a phone call to a government official .....no response! What needs to happen to motivate people to action?
