Nature's Fireworks......

Like most in our vicinity our fireworks plans were a total wash out! It poured rain all day with only an occasional ray of sunshine peeking through the darkened sky.

We kept our hopes up all day as we prepared for company and Thom readied the pontoon for an evening on the lake.....no way that was happening. Pastor and Jan arrived for dinner and eventually we settled into our routine of Sequence and chitchat accepting the fact that a float was not in the forecast.

There was the rare boom of a determined pyrotechnic enthusiast but that was about the extent of the traditional 4th of July celebration. Had a fun time regardless of the weather.

Thank You Lord for this country and earnestly pray that this nation return to Your Holy Word for guidance and direction.......
