A toasty bedroom forced Thom to sleep in the recliner. I just dealt with the warm room and let the fan blow tepid air around me while enjoying the comfort of my own bed.
The plants were weighed down with tomatoes ready for harvesting and my first project was to prepare them for the crock pot. Guessing I peeled nearly 50 along with chopping peppers and onions before the slow cooker simmered all the ingredients for 9 hours. Quite the job! Our friend Bill came over after church to examine and repair our AC .....sweet of him to give us cool air on his day of rest. We are grateful.
Loads of chores and a grocery run to fill the empty shelves. Our expected daily dose of rain complete with thunder and lightening .....must be some kind of rainfall record by now.
Full week ahead. Picking up Brian and Emmy tomorrow for a weeks stay and expecting Terra to deliver our 26th grandchild tomorrow (being induced).
